Carnival Glass is a collectible glass from the depression era created by repeated cycles of surface reduction and metal oxide etching. It's an incredible process to perform as the colors start to change and develop. This blue color reduces out to a golden hue that is beautifully highlighted by the iridizing etch. Very fun and works great with this sculpted shape. The last two photos show the original blue inside contrasting with the outer surface. Measures 5 1/2" high and 3" wide at the top.
