The Rain Vase

Sometimes trying something different reveals funny things. I inspected the first piece made with this technique and noticed the little bubbles lined up like falling rain...what? I hoped it would reproduce in a large shape and this vase was the result. The Rain. Named for a favorite song by The Cult. Here comes the Rain...here she comes again...

The beautiful copper blue glass was a holdover from my MT studio sitting in an old bucket marked "Mystery Blue". Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Measures 9" High x 5 1/2" max diameter and 2 3/4" opening.
